About Tobias Ulbrich
Tobias Ulbrich is a lawyer and specialist lawyer with many years of experience in transport law, consumer protection, and tort law. He is one of the legal pioneers in addressing the diesel emissions scandal and led groundbreaking cases against car manufacturers at an early stage.
He gained particular notoriety through his participation in the first model declaratory action against Volkswagen AG — a milestone in collective legal protection in Germany.
Today, his focus is on three areas: transport law damage cases along complex supply and logistics chains, vehicle reversal in cases of defects and manufacturer responsibility, and vaccination damage law with hundreds of ongoing proceedings following Covid-19 vaccinations.
In addition to his legal practice, Ulbrich lectured on transport law at FOM University and is active as a training manager for aviation safety officers. He holds a private pilot's license (PPL(A)+NFQ) and, as managing director of fastlaw.online GmbH, combines traditional legal advice with legal tech approaches.
