In March 2021, Carolin received the AstraZeneca coronavirus vaccine. After repeatedly struggling with increasingly severe headaches and undergoing multiple hospital visits, a CT scan revealed a severe cerebral hemorrhage. She was immediately taken to the University Hospital in Leipzig, where she underwent emergency surgery. She still suffers permanent damage to this day. Carolin's case tragically demonstrates how vaccine injury can lead to life-threatening complications.
