Heeft Herbert Diess gelogen? Deze vraag wordt heel duidelijk gesteld in een recent artikel in Focus op online<\/a> op. Volkswagen AG heeft altijd beweerd dat in de EA288-motoren <\/a>en hun softwarebeheer is volledig volgens de regels van de kunst. Met een unieke Google-campagne probeert het bedrijf te voorkomen dat slachtoffers een rechtszaak aanspannen over hun EA288-voertuigen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

VW steeds meer onder druk<\/strong> <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Het lijkt erop dat het Openbaar Ministerie van Braunschweig een andere mening heeft dan de heer Diess. Een boete van 1 miljard euro, die door Volkswagen AG is geaccepteerd en betaald en die ter beschikking staat van de redactie van Focus Online, geldt niet alleen voor de bekende EA189-voertuigen<\/a> van Volkswagen<\/a>, Audi<\/a>Seat en Skoda tot 2,0 l cilinderinhoud, maar ook naar de opvolgermotor EA 288 Gen 3, die in voertuigen van dezelfde fabrikant werd gemonteerd. Volkswagen heeft altijd benadrukt dat de sancties alleen betrekking hadden op de Amerikaanse markt. De tekstpassages die Focus Online publiceert, bewijzen echter het tegendeel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dat betekent dat ook de ad hoc-aankondiging van Volkswagen AG, waarin werd gesteld dat er geen andere voertuigtypen waren gemanipuleerd, onjuist is. Dit zou op zijn beurt enorme gevolgen kunnen hebben, aangezien nogal wat rechtbanken van mening zijn dat de ad hoc-communicatie ertoe heeft geleid dat de immoraliteit is ge\u00eblimineerd. Als de communicatie echter opnieuw misleidend was, gaat dit argument niet op.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bovendien zouden duizenden vonnissen objectief gezien onjuist zijn en rijst de vraag of we niet nog meer immorele schade en procedurele fraude zouden moeten aannemen als de manipulatie van de EA288 Gen 3 waar zou blijken te zijn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
